I am a faculty member of a college-based paramedic program. I have been a paramedic for 30 years, and have been teaching paramedicine for the past 15 years or so. My program is in a pretty progressive region for delivery of Emergency Medical Services. This allows me to stay current in my practice, and to be supported when I try new teaching delivery methods, or when I take a new approach in my practice. I am an author and a conference presenter. I have only been presenting outside of my region for everal years, but I find it challenging and entertaining.
