An entrepreneurial marketer turned marketing educator, Bob began his marketing career with a Masters degree from Newcastle University.
His early commercial career included marketing roles in the pharmaceuticals, floor-coverings and livestock/meat industries for companies such as Beecham Group (now part of Glaxo Smith Kline) and Unilever among others.
During the 1980's and early 90's, he was with the UK franchised high-street print company Prontaprint. In addition to having a franchised outlet in Peterborough, he developed regional marketing support and training facilities for franchisees and ultimately joined the board of Prontaprint plc as UK Marketing Director.
