After serving as a fighter pilot with in the USAF, Bob worked for Shell for over 30 years in various aspects of oil & gas exploration and production. In his last role in Shell as Managing Director of Shell Aircraft, he was responsible for the operation of Shell's own aircraft and for the safety of all air transportation activity in support of Shell's global operations.
After retiring from Shell, Bob has worked for AgustaWestland a senior advisor for safety and fleet operational improvements.
Bob has served on the Executive Committee for the International Helicopter Safety Team since its inception.
