I am a full-time freelance German→English translator with an M.A. in German translation from Kent State University. My professional experience includes six years working in Bonn, Germany as a freelance translator and Internet researcher. I travel frequently to Germany to keep my language skills up to date
I am an active member of the American Translators Association, the Northeast Ohio Translators Association (held the position of president for the last 8 years), and an adjunct faculty member of Kent State University’s Institute for Applied Linguistics. I am also a former contract linguist for the FBI.
