I'm passionate about teaching and conducting high standard research in the field of Economics. Particularly, I intend to focus my academic and research career on Economic Growth and Comparative Development, Institutions and Structural Reforms, Financial Development, International Macroeconomics and Trade. I'm also interested in micro-based research issues in the field of behavioural economics, impact of government policies, poverty reduction, fertility and health transitions,and finance access and firm growth.
