I currently work at Carnarvon Public Library as the part time children's services library officer. I am the acquisition officer for the young adults collection, I supervise the children's book club and assist the full time officer's young children services. I also read stories to kindy and pre-primary children - a 6 week program through the State Library of WA.
Among my children services I collect and process the donated items and new books into the library's collections, design displays and general library services serving the community.
I thing I have introduced myself to is IT and I thoroughly enjoy this side of libraries. I would like to have training in this field and one day...
