I still haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up. I graduated from Lawrence County High School in Moulton, AL in 1979 and my favorite activities as a teenager were band and scouts. After high school I attended Jacksonville State University where, after a change in majors, I ended up in Finance with minors in Computer Science and Management. After graduating I worked in banking, insurance, and selling high-end audio and video equipment and then decided I might like to teach at the college level. I got an M.A. in Finance at the University of Alabama and then taught at UNA for two years. I really love teaching and went to the University of North Texas for a Ph.D in Finance and Real
