I have completed my Master degree (M.Sc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering after performing R&D work as a consultant for Projecto FST Novabase at Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST). The main goal was the electromagnetic and thermal design of a high performance permanent magnet machine, with high power density (7 kW/Kg) in order to fulfil the team goals in the Formula Student competition. This work was considered the best thesis in the university at 2012, which earned me the winning of Professor Luis Vidigal prize.
