The very people who work with our children on a daily bases are being blamed for the educational systems failures but who have the least control over making positive change. We need our teachers to investigate and implement a new educational model; one that eliminates artificial grade expectancies and allows students to learn in a seamless, mastery-based curriculum geared to their individual learning styles and needs. We need to empower teachers to facilitate individual learners rather then try to direct group learning.
