Currently an associate professor of microbiology, and head of the Medical Microbiology Department, at College of Medicine, Khoms, Libya. I was a biological scientist and obtained my BSc (Hons) in 1980 from Libya, MSc in 1983 in bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA, and PhD in 1992 from the same university in Microbial Food Safety.
