Did PhD from BARC, Mumbai in 1983. Worked in industrial R & D with Wyeth Labs ltd, Hoechst India Ltd and Lupin pharma, Tarapur. Specialized in strain improvement, process development, contamination control, technology transfer and evaluation , setting up of laboratory for R & D work related to bioprocess and biophamraceuticals technology.
Teaching at PG level in Khalsa college for last 5 yrs. Teach bioprocess technology and intellectual property rights. Guiding few students for their doctoral degrees in the subject of bioanalytical sciences.
