Over 11 years ago, God blessed Brad and me with an incredible son Yates. Due to complications from meningitis, he was diagnosed as Special Needs - Other Health Impaired. In July of 2011, he also received the diagnosis of autism. Along this journey, God has placed incredible people on our path as Brad, Yates or I have needed them. For me, one of those people is Stephanie Griggs Bridgers. Here is a quote from her I would like to share, "A friend/therapist once told me this when Samuel and Eli were diagnosed with Autism...Sam and Eli are your sons-You love Sam and Eli-Sam and Eli have Autism! IN THAT ORDER!...NEVER, forget about the rest of your family and who YOU are!"
