About
I am a Digital Humanist, English Professor, and Anglo-Saxonist with considerable experience in beginning and developing communities of practice and interest.
My interests involve research and practice in Digital Cultural Heritage, the Semantic Web, Editorial and Textual theory, the sustainability of scholarly communication, the place of the University in society in the Digital Age, and improving connections among Digital Humanists in high and lesser income economies.
I am a frequent speaker and media contributor on subjects such as the integration of the digital into post-secondary research and teaching, the future of the academy, and the place of the university in the digital age.
