* Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and
  pharmacy interns

* Some pharmacists own their own pharmacies
 and spend more time on the business side
* Some pharmacists are involved with testing and
 researching new pharmaceuticals
* While most pharmacists will use standard
 dosages for medications, some will create
 customized medications by a process known as
 compounding

Complete 2-3 years of prerequisite study (some
    programs require a bachelors degree)


        Pass the Pharmacy College Admissions Test
        (PCAT)


             Complete a 3-4 year Doctor of Pharmacy
             (Pharm.D.) program (+ 1-2 year residency for
             advanced positions)


                  Pass 2 state licensing tests detailing pharmacy
                  knowledge and law
