After graduating business school in 2007, I spent five years with Microsoft focusing on customer marketing in their small and midsize business team. From that experience I took away a strong focus on the customer, understanding their needs, behaviors, and aspirations. Although Microsoft doesn't always have the strongest customer focus, I did my best to instill this while admittedly learning as much from what we did as from what we didn't do....In any case, it was a great experience that helped me develop both leadership and management skills while expanding my marketing skill set.
