I am a composer and a musician--piano, voice, violin, organ, kinnor (also called a King David's Harp). I grew up in Oklahoma, but have also lived in Kenya, Mississippi, Michigan, Illinois, Texas, and now Washington.
The Bible and music have always been important in my life. When I read the Bible, it comes with music. Music expresses harmony, rhythm, melody, ideas of beauty, grandeur, order. These qualities of thought bring healing. When music demonstrates and expresses qualities of good, of God, it brings with it healing.
