When I was young I played the piano and the flute, but what I really wanted to play was the drums.
I was never curious about being a musician though, my heart was in journalism.
I cared most about social issues and that started to overlap with music.
I once lived in Hong Kong, reporting on politics and nightlife. But that feels like another life now.
