Launched innovative pilot program to engage high school students as Youth Representatives to Falls Church City Boards and Commissions, as well as Civic Groups. Program creates opportunities for youth to learn about local government and civics in a hands-on way; engages parents and peers in community issues; & demonstrates City's commitment to youth by giving them a voice in decision-making. Led efforts to develop concept, get stakeholders involved, secure elected officials' support, and promote idea to youth.
