The El Paso Country Club was founded in 1906 and has experienced numerous changes over the past century. It was originally located on Dudley Field but moved locations in 1909 and 1918 due to fires destroying clubhouses. In 1918, the club moved to land donated in the upper valley. Throughout the 1900s, the club underwent many renovations and additions to the clubhouse and golf course to modernize facilities and attract new members. Major events held at the club include the first El Paso Open in 1920 and the PGA El Paso Invitational in 1952. The club celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2006.
