I've finally accepted that I'm intense. Even people I've only known for a couple of minutes laugh when I say that until a few years ago I really thought I was mellow. Most of them think I'm joking.
Then they will say that they like intensity. It's a good thing, they say. Yes, I agree. But, I continue, in a couple of weeks when you realize that I really wasn't kidding or sugar coating anything, you'll change your mind. They always deny it, but I'm always right.
I'm also smart and tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. Neither of which mix well with intensity. It just means that I'm a little like Cassandra. I am smart
