Of mixed Celtic and Gypsy heritage, Catherine discovered at an early age that she could see the future in cards; at an Italian wedding, she glimpsed some antique cards and predicted a tumultuous future for the bride and groom. Later in high school, she always knew at exactly what time all the students would drop their pencils in order to drive the substitute teacher crazy. After steeping herself in the occult, including studies of Rosicrucianism and the Golden Dawn, Catherine emerged from the chrysalis of mysticism armed with a Tarot deck and a keen desire to help people.
