I currently teach rhetoric and composition courses in English at the University of Oklahoma, one of which is Nature and Environmental Writing. Because of this developing interest, I helped found Citizens Climate Lobby-OK, a branch of the national Citizensclimatelobby.org. We have just started a new chapter in Oklahoma City (December 2012).
We work to increase citizen awareness of climate change and policies that could help bring the earth more into balance. In addition to training others in the issue, we work to write letters and lobby, primarily on the federal level. We advocate a fee and dividend policy that would be revenue-neutral, returning the fees to all American households....
