Thirteen years on the staff side of the chamber table and another Thirteen from the business side.
Politics was my first love and, yes, I know that is unheard of these days; but I mean politics as in the serious business of mindfully and honestly conducting public affairs. Politics as in the very serious business of growing our communities, our economy and our people. I never envisioned or understood how much we each have invested in our public affairs systems nor how much influence one passionate individual banding together with other passionate individuals can get done until I got involved.
