With a BA in humanities and MA in social sciences, I have an eclectic background including 18 years in East Asia. While working in rural Laos training forestry personnel for the Swedish government, I developed an obsession with software interfaces. After years of hobbyist UI geekery and building online UI design communities, I began my career in tech with a Sequoia-funded startup based in San Francisco, and quickly found my calling in Product. Today, I manage Product in the innovation wing of Capital One, solving customer problems with credit card transaction data and design thinking.
