Mr. Hongki Cha is a Senior Researcher of Protocol Engineering Center, ETRI, which is the most prestigious government-affiliated research institute in South Korea. His primary interests are international standardization on IoT/healthcare, standardization strategy, and Internet/telecommunication policy. At OCF, he is the vice-chair of HCP (Healthcare Project) and is in charge of the OCF's healthcare device specification as the primary editor. At ITU-T, he develops a draft Recommendation on wearable applications as the primary editor. He also acts as liaison officers of ITU-T SG20 to OCF and ITU-T SG16. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate majoring organization, strategy, and open source.
