While pursuing a degree in psychology at Kennesaw State University, I got caught up in the information technology bubble and skipped my plans to pursue a terminal degree in psychology. When I graduated, I went to work for a New York-based hospitality management company called Sentry Hospitality, that specialized in managing 4-star+ conference centers and resorts. Four years later, I had designed, installed and managed the networks of several large resorts and conference centers across the country while also providing ongoing IT support to those properties.
