There I was, a struggling freelance writer in a post-911 world. Nobody was hiring; certainly they weren't hiring writers. Except. That one, great company: Stonyfield Farm, the organic yogurt company. There it was: A classified ad on Monster.com with the heading "Writer"! Good thing, too. I didn't know what a "Blogger" was then. I sure do now. Between March 2004 and April 2004, Stonyfield CEO Gary Hirshberg and I developed and launched five different corporate blogs.
The rest is history. It's been a crazy, wonderful roller coaster ride ever since!
