I currently teach design ethics and design methods at the Amsterdam University of Applied Science (HvA). I am also co-ordinator of the minor programme Design thinking and doing. Prior to this I was head of school for the Communications and Multimedia Design Bachelor course at the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam. Before moving into education I spent 15 years working firstly in supply chain and business planning and then in marketing. I was European marketing manager for Portable Audio products at Sony until 2000 and then worked on various marketing and marcoms projects as a freelancer.
