Throughout the years, different discoveries in the field of cancer biology have led to the identification of new genes and regulatory mechanisms, associated with the development of malignancies. Keeping in mind the intricate inter-dependence between different developmental and differentiation pathways,genomic expressions and cancer progression, I would like to have a bottom-up approach towards cancer.
It would be great to understand basic developmental processes by focusing the study on genomic expressions, through which the search for new therapeutic modalities against the cancerous cells, will continue.
