6. Return
We must always be prepared for what might come
so that we can respond to the adversary. When we
do not prepare and trials or bad things happen to us,
then we have nothing we can do but allow them to
overcome us. We must always be striving to make
righteous choices because when we do, we are
blessed for it. Have the courage to do the right
thing, even if no one else around you is. We are
constantly preparing for one thing or another.
Ultimately though, we are preparing ourselves so
that we may someday return to our Heavenly Father.
7. Disciple Preparation Center: Elder
David A. Bednar
-The Brigham Young University Idaho Campus is
similar in many ways to the Missionary Training
Center. Instead of missionaries though, this is a
disciple preparation center. A disciple follows and
learns which is what we are doing every day here at
college. The word preparation means the process of
making or getting ready and the word center is a
point where things originate from. BYU-I is a
temple of learning. It is located next to a House of
the Lord. BYU-Idaho is also surrounded by strong
stakes of Zion. We need to remember how blessed
we are and we shouldnt take advantage of it.
8. Interviews
David Lino:
Knowing and Loving your profession:
Knowing what you do now, would you approach this career
(or job) in the same way? If not,
What Would You Do Differently, and why?
I love my profession and I think that experience has helped me
better understand what I must do to be successful in my job and I'm
focused on doing that. Success in this position is the result or
consequence of the success of the people who are part of my team.
If they succeed then I will succeed too. My job is to help them
succeed, to achieve results that are committed using the correct
forms and media. My constant concern is to know how to help them,
is like exercise leadership to help them become better holistically.
