A substantial portion of my work at the Post graduate level has involved researching on Control and Guidance stream. Recently, I have completed my M.tech thesis on Designing a Silding Mode Control for Magnetic Levitation System using non-linear time varying sliding surface. The objective of the thesis is to present a non-linear time-varying sliding surface using a new design method to improve the performance of a classical sliding mode controller that has a constant linear sliding surface.
