Me? Hmmm I grew up in the tiny north central town of Mankato, Kansas, after my mother ran across the border to deliver me in Superior, Nebraska. I survived small town life by developing a lifetime passion for reading and a knack for finding beauty in obscure places. I've lived as a farmwife for almost twenty years, and as an administrator's wife for almost a dozen. I feel my best marital role is yet to come. I am the proud mom of four beautiful daughters, grandma to five adorable grandsons and will soon welcome my second granddaughter to our fold which includes three fine son-in-laws. I am a school and public librarian and love living close to Kansas City... but not too close!
