I am a native Michigander, born and raised in the "Middle of the Mitten". I graduated from Central Michigan University's School of Music with a B.S. in Instrumental Performance (Trumpet - and yes, I still play!), and a B.F.A. in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. After a brief stint in the U.S. Navy, I changed professions, becoming a professional Firefighter/EMT/HAZMAT Technician, something that I still do today on my local Fire Department. I also spent a lot of time in K-9 Search and Rescue and K-9 Evidence Detection.
