After working in local government management for 15 years, I decided to go back to school to earn my teaching certificate. I worked for one year substitute teaching at various schools in Putnam County and then got a permanent teaching position at Browning Pearce Elementary School in San Mateo, FL. Eventually, some day, I would like to earn my doctoral degree and teach at the college level.
