Colin Harrison was initially a secondary English teacher and lectured on the PGCE at Nottingham for 25 years, during which time he worked part-time in over 15 Nottinghamshire schools. He has directed six national projects on ICT, is a former Chair of the Technology and Literacy Committee of the International Reading Association, has been President of the UK Reading Association, and was a founding editor of the Journal of Research in Reading.
