Zach Collins was born in Grinnell, Iowa. He received his BA from Upper Iowa University and his MA from the University of Iowa. He is currently living in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he received his MFA degree from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. His Internationally shown work is about memories-tragic, humorous, and everything in-between. Zach experiments and investigates with the unexpected associations created by combining fragmented materials through collage.
