Dr. Distante has carried out his master thesis at ISSIA-CNR. He has been Visiting researcher at the Computer Science Department of the University of Massachusetts (Umass at Amherst, MA) where has worked in the context of robotics and vision. In 1998 he has served as a teaching assistant of the Artificial Intelligence course of the Master in Science of the University of Massachusetts.
