MAKERERE UNIVERSITY

Waste Disposal and Management, an environmental concern
 Hygiene and Sanitation
Tour around Makerere University Places of Worship
Large heaps are a common sight in and around Makerere. On many occasions the
rubbish smells which dogs and marabou storks feed on, they scatter the rubbish
allover the place and no one seems to bother to collect it. During the rainy
season, the rubbish gets soaked and attracts so many flies in the area.
Students say Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) is responsible for collecting
the garbage but it takes too long
