Craig Kauffman is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Oregon. His research interests include Global Governance, Environmental Politics, Latin American Politics, Democratization, Decentralization and Social Participation. His current research agenda investigates how the interaction between actors at the global and subnational levels determines policy responses to environmental challenges such as climate change and the destruction of ecosystems, particularly in less-developed countries.
