Presently a faculty of the College of Education at De La Salle University, Manila He was trained in Structural Equations Modeling at Freie Universität in Berlin, Germany. In 2005 he was awarded as the Most Outstanding Junior Faculty in Psychology by the Samahan ng Mag-aaral sa Sikolohiya and in 2007 he was the Best Teacher Students’ Choice Award by the College of Education in DLSU, Manila, The Lasallian Excellence Award, Students Search for Most Outstanding Teacher in 2012. In 2008, he was awarded by the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) as the Most Outstanding Published Scientific Paper in the Social Science.
