CHIP is an interdisciplinary program. Students may collaborate across the UNC School of Information and Library Science, the School of Medicine, the Gillings School of Global Public Health, and the School of Nursing.
We offer a range of flexible options designed for graduate students and professionals to tailor their learning and be competitive in this rapidly expanding field.
Our program has a foundation in theory, but our focus is putting knowledge into practice. All programs require a separate, or course-integrated practicum designed to bridge the areas of research, policy, and industry.
