I started my career over 26 years ago straight out of college at the local newspaper in the graphics department designing advertisements. After a few months I transferred to the sales department selling automotive, classified display ads and real estate accounts and then transferred to retail accounts. After many years at the paper, I left to manage another paper with sales staff of 8, creating speciality magazines, inserts and newspapers to generate extra revenue for the paper and for the advertisers.
