I am intrigued and excited by business models not only as processes/means for venture development and value creation/delivery/capture, but also as a medium for communicating a vision with collaborators and stakeholders (both current and prospective).
More journey than destination, designing and defining a business model starts with a set of hypotheses needing to be iteratively tested, validated, and refined. As you mold it based on experimentation and market feedback, a business model will continually evolve towards a more complete, but never completed organism.
