Basically a Microbiologist, skilled in USP and DSP of Biotechnological products, have interest in proteomics and Enzyme engineering, Fermentation technology . Also well versed in MIC, CLC BIO. Aware of actinobacterial taxonomy, HPLC, Fermentor . Has current interest in peptidomimics and its antimicrobial attribute study along with antioxidant activity assays.
Enhanced production of commercially important enzymes ( ex: tyrosinase , keratinase , glutaminase ,cellulase etc ) ; purification and kinetic studies ; stabilization studies of enzymes employing enzyme immobilization ; exploration of novel matrices for immobilization of streptomyces for enhanced production of enzymes
