About
Realizing life's legacy should be more about how you change the world than what you do to make a living, I've embarked on a mission to address plastic pollution in our waterways and oceans (marine debris). In 2013, I founded a non-profit that educates people about marine debris through neighborhood, shoreline, and waterway cleanups. Our website - www.VolunteerCleanup.Org - is a central repository for people to find or host local cleanups. In 2015, we helped facilitate over 300 cleanups, 27,000 volunteer hours, and remove over 50 tons of plastic trash and debris from our waters. Be part of the solution by reducing single use plastics, putting trash where it belongs, and picking up litter.
