Raised on the North Shore and went travelling in 1986, ending up in Europe working as ski instructor in French Alps. Did post grad studies in Tourism at University of Surrey and worked in tourism in UK since. Was Chief Executive of Yorkshire Tourist Board for 10 years and set up Andrews Associates tourism consultancy and Maple Training in 2008.
