David Centuri贸n Pacheco was born in Campeche, Camp. Mexico on 1st. October 1971. He obtained the degree of Pharmacist in 1995. Subsequently, he enrolled as a postgraduate student at the Department of Pharmacology of Cinvestav (Center for Research and Advanced Studies, Mexico City). He obtained the M.Sc. degree in December 1997 and the Ph.D. degree in September 2000. He was working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Pharmacology, Hamsptead Campus, University College London (2000-2001). In 2002, he was invited to form part of the academic staff of the Department of Pharmacobiology at Cinvestav. He is interested in experimental models of diabetes and hypertension.
