Responsibilities performed / performing:
1988 - 1996 Head of the Department(HOD), Department of
Pharmacology, NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical
Sciences, Deralakatte, Mangalore, Mangalore University,
Karnataka, India.
As HOD, I was responsible for planning, establishing, and
developing the department from zero level.
1990 - 1996 Staff Advisor, NGSM Institute of Pharm. Sciences,
Deralakatte, Mangalore, Mangalore University, Karnataka
Sate, India.
As staff advisor, I was responsible for mentoring, advising,
and counseling the students, both undergraduates &
postgraduates, for their betterment in academic and extra-
curricular activities, development of human resources in
students, responsible for maintenance of discipline among
the students in the campus, arrangement of Guest –lectures,
invited lectures, and conducting various competitions, tests
among the students. Lead the college students team for
various inter-collegiate competitions and won several
laurels for the college.

for initiating, planning, and organizing the training session
for faculty members)

was responsible for uplifting the college (from zero level)

transactions of the college; supervising the activities such
as Budgeting, Payment & Receipts, and Auditing of the
college.

(Responsible for improving the quality of Pharmacy
education provided by the college)

1996 - 2008 Chief Superintendent, Rajiv Gandhi University of health
Sciences(RGUHS), Govt. of Karnataka. (Responsible for
conducting end examinations for B.Pharm & M.Pharm
students on behalf of RGUHS, and D.Pharm students on
behalf of Board of Examining Authority, Govt. of
Karnataka.

Ministry of Social Justice, Govt. of India.( Responsible for
permitting & supervising experiments on laboratory
animals in the college)
