Dawa Gail Lorien, M.A., Ph.D. is a Certified Compassion Cultivation Teacher, Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education, Stanford University. She first became involved with CCare and CCT in 2010 and taught CCT at the Cancer Support Community in Walnut Creek, CA, 2012-2013. She completed the CCare, Stanford certification program in the fall 2014. Dawa was a research fellow at the Mind and Life Summer Research Institute, The Situated and Embodied Mind in 2012 and attended CCare Summer Research Institute in 2013.
