Life has been very interesting over the last 15 months - Ike came through Bridge City with a vengeance and 99% of all homes and businesses were flooded - we had 2 1/2 feet. In November 2009, I had a brain tumor removed - my biggest concern? - - - "how much hair are you going to shave off?" All went well, tumor was benign. We've been working on the house and fighting with the insurance company. So many of our friends did not have flood insurance - we typically are not in a flood zone. Finished most of the repairs before Christmas and we were able to move in. It was so wonderful to finally be back in!! 2010 will be wonderful and blessed - I can feel it!!
